MONETARY OFFERING TO DEITIES AT DURGA TEMPLE IS PREFERRED BECAUSE FUNDS ARE USED TO MAINTAIN THE TEMPLE. OFFERINGS OF DRY FRUIT AND SWEETS ARE ALSO ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE THEY CAN BE DISRRIBUTGED TO DEVOTEES.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING GROCERIES FOR OFFERINGS BECAUSE THEY CANNOT BE USED IN THE TEMPLE AND IT BECOMES PAINFUL TO DISCAERD THEM IN GABAGE WHEN THEY GET BAD AND UNUSEABLE. MOREOVER, THEY TAKE A LOT OF STORAGE SPACE UNTIL THEY BECOME UNUSEABLE.
SIMILAERLY, DO NOT LEAVE ANY MURTIS AT THE TEMPLE BECAUSE THEY WILL BE DISCARDED BY OUR CLEANING PERSONNEL. THIS MAY REPRESENT A BAD OMEN FOR YOU.
